Bonnie Norman, President of E3 International, attended and spoke at the 22nd Belgrade Economic Forum which was held in Belgrade, Serbia on December 5-6, 2022. Norman was invited to be one of the panelists on the panel discussion “Energy efficiency: How we can help small and medium companies to achieve energy efficiency, support circular economy”. Other speakers at this panel discussion included: Christian Schilling (Head of Cooperation and First Secretary of the German Embassy), Nicola Bertolini (Head of Cooperation, Delegation of the European Union to Serbia), Richard Kohli, Director (Swiss Cooperation Office in Serbia), Daniel Berg (Chief of the party for the USAID project ’’Better Energy’’), and Zarko Petrovic (Resilient Development, UNDP).
Belgrade Economic Forum is an annual review of Serbia’s political, economic, and business developments, providing the analysis of the country’s role within the Region and an excellent platform for communication among political, economic as well as business leaders and scholars in the Region of Southeast Europe. The event, which gathered 50 speakers and more than 250 participants, was held under the patronage of the Foreign Investors Council, the Hellenic Business Association and the Association of Business Women of Serbia. This year’s topics were the most current issues related to Serbia and the world, such as energy, connectedness in the Balkans, the key to economic growth, strategies for the financing of economic development, the future of retail, inflation, energy efficiency, as well as the topic of digitization.
