Bonnie Norman, President of E3 International, visited Indonesia to explore collaboration with the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) around E3I’s Sustainable Land, Livelihoods, and Energy Initiative (SLLEI).
The visit focused on identifying opportunities to align CIFOR’s global expertise in forestry and landscape restoration with SLLEI’s integrated bioeconomy model. Discussions highlighted shared priorities, including sustainable land use, rural development, and low-emission energy solutions.
Both sides expressed interest in advancing joint research and project development to support climate goals and community-based resilience.
